We are seeking a motivated Junior Quality Engineer to join our team. This role involves supporting the development and implementation of quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and assisting in problem-solving efforts to maintain product quality. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance procedures and standards.
- Conduct inspections, tests, and audits on products and processes.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain and analyse quality records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
- Support supplier quality evaluations and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and methodologies such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of inspection techniques, statistical analysis, and problem-solving tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
