CLINICAL MANAGER – ROLE DESCRIPTION
Location: Koniki Luxe, Hyderabad
Department: Clinical Sales, Business, RM & Operations (Dermatology & Aesthetic Services)
Reporting To: Doctor & HR Head
Role Overview
The Clinical Manager is responsible for end-to-end clinic operations, driving clinical excellence, patient experience, pharmacy sales, and revenue performance. This role integrates medical services with retail (pharmacy) growth, ensuring seamless execution across clinical, sales, and operational functions.
Core Responsibilities Clinical & Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of dermatology and aesthetic services
- Ensure seamless coordination between doctors and therapists.
- Manage appointment flow, treatment efficiency, and clinic productivity
Treatment Quality & Clinical Standards
- Ensure strict adherence to clinical SOPs, hygiene, and safety protocols
- Supervise advanced treatments (laser, skin, hair, slimming)
- Maintain high standards in service quality and patient safety
Pharmacy Sales & Product Management
- Drive in-clinic pharmacy sales (skin, hair, and prescription products)
- Ensure 100% prescription-to-product conversion wherever applicable
- Manage product display, visibility, and retail merchandising
- Monitor stock levels, expiry, and inventory rotation (FIFO)
- Train team on product knowledge, cross-selling, and upselling
- Coordinate with vendors for product availability and new launches
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead and manage:
- Therapists / Technicians
- Clinical Assistants
- Front Desk Management
- Coordinate with dermatologists for treatment plans
- Drive team productivity, discipline, grooming, and attendance compliance
- Conduct regular training and performance reviews
Patient Experience & Relationship Management
- Ensure a premium consultation-to-treatment journey
- Handle escalations and critical cases
- Drive client retention, package upgrades, and loyalty
Revenue & Business Performance
- Achieve clinic targets across:
- Treatments
- Packages
- Pharmacy sales
- Monitor daily revenue, conversions, and KPIs
- Optimize utilization of machines and resources
Compliance & Clinical Governance
- Ensure proper patient records, consent, and documentation
- Maintain compliance with medical standards and regulations
- Conduct regular audits for process adherence
Inventory & Equipment Management
- Manage stock of consumables, medicines, and retail products
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of clinic equipment
- Avoid stock loss, expiry, or overstocking
Reporting & Business Coordination
- Share daily/weekly reports on:
- Revenue (services + pharmacy)
- Patient flow
- Team performance
- Support management in business strategy and growth planning
Key Competencies
- Strong knowledge of dermatology, aesthetics, and skincare products
- Proven ability in retail/pharmacy sales within clinic setup
- Leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and patient handling ability
- Business-driven mindset with operational control
Experience & Qualification
- 5–10 years in derma/aesthetic clinic management
- Experience in pharmacy/retail sales within clinic environment preferred
- Background in cosmetology/healthcare/clinical operations
