Job Summary
The Activity Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating a wide range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities for students from Nursery to Class XII. The teacher will nurture creativity, confidence, leadership, communication skills, teamwork, and overall personality development while ensuring maximum student participation in school, zonal, district, state, and national-level competitions.
Key Responsibilities1. Planning & Organization
- Prepare an annual activity calendar in coordination with the school administration.
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate activities for students from Nursery to Class XII.
- Organize inter-house, inter-class, annual, and special assembly activities.
- Coordinate national and international day celebrations, cultural programmes, exhibitions, and school events.
2. Competition Management
The Activity Teacher must possess sound knowledge and experience in organizing and preparing students for competitions such as:

3. Student Development
- Identify talented students and provide specialized coaching.
- Encourage participation of every child according to age and ability.
- Develop communication skills, leadership qualities, creativity, confidence, and stage presence.
- Train students in public speaking, anchoring, and presentation skills.
4. Event Management
- Plan and execute Annual Day, Investiture Ceremony, Graduation Ceremony, Sports Day, Exhibition, Talent Hunt, and Cultural Programmes.
- Prepare scripts, stage management plans, and rehearsal schedules.
- Coordinate costumes, props, music, decorations, certificates, and prizes.
- Maintain discipline and safety during practices and events.
5. Documentation
- Maintain records of competitions, student participation, achievements, photographs, and reports.
- Prepare notices, circulars, event reports, certificates, and appreciation letters.
- Update school achievements for newsletters, website, and social media.
6. Coordination
- Coordinate with class teachers, subject teachers, house in-charges, and parents.
- Liaise with external organizations for participation in competitions and workshops.
- Work closely with the administration for smooth conduct of all activities.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent knowledge of planning and organizing co-curricular activities from Nursery to Class XII.
- Strong understanding of CBSE, Directorate of Education (DOE), and inter-school competition formats.
- Ability to prepare students for zonal, district, state, and national-level competitions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong stage management, event coordination, and leadership abilities.
- Creative thinking and innovative activity planning.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, and AI-based educational tools.
- Ability to write scripts, speeches, reports, and event documentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (B.Ed. preferred).
- Diploma/Degree/Certification in Performing Arts, Fine Arts, Music, Dance, Theatre, Physical Education, or Activity Education will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Activity Teacher or Event Coordinator in a recognized school.
- Proven experience in organizing school events and preparing students for various competitions across different age groups.

Pay: Up to ₹22,500.00 per month
