Job Requirements Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) & Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Job DescriptionRole : ETP/STP & L- 2levelEducation : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Diploma in Chemical Engineering with fresher or 1 or 2 years experienceKey Responsibilities· Oversee the daily operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).· Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards, including ISO 14001.· Manage the environmental laboratory and ensure accurate testing and reporting of environmental samples.· Monitor and analyze the performance of the ETP and STP, and implement improvements as needed.· Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the ETP and STP.· Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure timely submission of required reports.(Basic reports – Form III,Form IV)· Conduct regular inspections and audits of the ETP and STP facilities.· Maintain the mechanical equipment & drives, systems(Air blower , Gear box, Filtration system)· Maintain records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and laboratory results.· Respond to emergencies and take corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.Required Qualifications· Diploma in mechanical engineering /Diploma in chemical engineering · Minimum of 1 -2 years of experience in operating and managing ETP and STP facilities.· Primary knowledge of environmental regulations and standards, including ISO 14001.· Experience in water testing parameters – Basic wastewater treatment parameters· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Proficiency in using computer – MS office /Excel (Basic level)Skills· Knowledge of ETP and STP operations and maintenance. (In Bio - logical process handling ,Industrial membrane handling process)· Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards.(TNPCB regulations)· Experience in environmental testing and laboratory management.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
