We are seeking a confident, energetic, and engaging Anchor to host live and recorded programs, interviews, events, podcasts, and digital content. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong on-camera presence, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences. The Anchor will be responsible for researching topics, conducting interviews, delivering content professionally, and collaborating with the production team to create compelling viewer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Host live and pre-recorded shows, podcasts, events, interviews, and special programs.
- Research topics, prepare scripts, and gather relevant information before each session.
- Conduct engaging interviews with guests, industry experts, influencers, and speakers.
- Maintain audience interest through clear, confident, and dynamic presentation skills.
- Coordinate with producers, directors, editors, and technical teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Improvise effectively during live sessions and handle unexpected situations professionally.
- Ensure content aligns with the organization's brand guidelines and editorial standards.
- Participate in content planning meetings and contribute creative ideas for new programs.
- Promote shows and engage audiences through social media platforms when required.
- Stay updated on current trends, industry developments, and audience preferences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an Anchor, Host, Presenter, Radio Jockey, or similar role is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication and storytelling skills.
- Strong command of Hindi and English (additional languages are a plus).
- Confident on-camera presence and public speaking abilities.
- Strong interviewing, research, and improvisation skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and live events when required.
- Proficiency in teleprompter usage and basic understanding of audio/video production is preferred.
