About the Role
A leading solar EPC company in Kerala is looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Head – EPC Projects to lead and scale its renewable energy business. This is a leadership role focused on driving revenue growth, managing high-performing teams, and expanding solar project opportunities across commercial, industrial, and utility sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the EPC sales & pre-sales teams (hiring, training, mentoring, performance tracking)
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of solar EPC projects through strategic lead generation
- Drive the complete sales cycle – from lead qualification to deal closure
- Handle techno-commercial discussions, proposals, ROI analysis, and feasibility studies
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for seamless execution
- Implement CRM systems and sales strategies to improve efficiency
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and expand into new markets
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure repeat business & referrals
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy preferred)
- MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred)
- 8–12+ years of experience in EPC / Solar / Renewable Energy sales
- Proven track record in team leadership and revenue achievement
- Strong knowledge of solar EPC processes, bidding, and regulatory frameworks in India
Key Skills
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Expertise in CRM tools, sales analytics, and MS Office
- Strategic mindset with ability to scale business operations
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala & India
Preferred Profile
- Experience in ground-mounted & rooftop solar projects
- Knowledge of Kerala solar policies & incentives
- Passion for renewable energy and working in a fast-paced environment
Negotiable for the right candidate + Attractive Incentives
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
