About the Role
We are looking for a responsible, organized, and safety-conscious Science Lab Attendant to assist teachers and students in the smooth functioning of the school science laboratory. The candidate will be responsible for preparing laboratory materials, maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and supporting practical classes in accordance with school safety procedures.

- Prepare science laboratories, apparatus, specimens, chemicals, and other materials required for practical classes.
- Assist science teachers in setting up experiments and practical activities.
- Arrange and issue laboratory equipment and materials as required.
- Ensure that all laboratory apparatus and equipment are clean, properly stored, and maintained.
- Maintain an updated inventory of laboratory equipment, chemicals, glassware, specimens, and consumable materials.
- Keep records of materials issued, used, damaged, or requiring replacement.
- Ensure proper labeling and safe storage of chemicals and laboratory equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laboratory, preparation room, and storage areas.
- Follow and enforce laboratory safety procedures under the direction of science teachers.
- Ensure that safety equipment such as first-aid kits, fire extinguishers, and safety materials are readily available.
- Report damaged equipment, shortages, spills, breakages, or safety concerns to the concerned teacher or school management immediately.
- Assist in the safe disposal of laboratory waste according to school procedures.
- Support teachers during science practicals, demonstrations, projects, and exhibitions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12th pass with Science; a graduate degree or diploma in Science/Laboratory Technology will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of school-level Physics, Chemistry, and Biology laboratory equipment.
- Previous experience working in a school, college, laboratory, or educational institution will be preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining inventory and records.
- Good understanding of laboratory safety and hygiene practices.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
