Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Machining Engineer to manage subcontract machining activities, vendor development, RFQ processing, supplier coordination, quality compliance, and delivery management for precision machined components.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, engineering drawings, machining quality requirements, supplier management, and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer drawings and technical specifications for machined components.
- Prepare and issue RFQs to machining vendors and subcontractors.
- Evaluate supplier quotations through technical and commercial comparisons.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding production schedules, quality requirements, and delivery commitments.
- Monitor manufacturing progress and expedite components to ensure on-time delivery.
- Verify drawing compliance and coordinate in-process inspections.
- Support supplier development and vendor performance improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, Purchase, and Project teams.
- Maintain project records, ERP transactions, and technical documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in machining, subcontracting, manufacturing, or vendor development.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and manufacturing methods.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
- Experience in supplier coordination, quotation comparison, and machining quality control.
- Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel for vendor visits and project requirements.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
