Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible IT Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer systems, network devices, CCTV systems, software, and other IT infrastructure. The candidate will provide technical assistance to users, resolve hardware and software issues, and ensure that all IT equipment operates securely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, servers, routers, switches, Wi-Fi devices, and other IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, internet, and operating system problems.
- Provide technical support to users through phone, remote access, email, and on-site visits.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems, drivers, antivirus software, office applications, and other business software.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VLAN, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing.
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, NVRs, DVRs, PoE switches, access-control systems, and related surveillance equipment.
- Monitor network connectivity and coordinate with internet service providers for link-related issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance of computers, network devices, UPS systems, and other IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, shared folders, and system access.
- Maintain records of IT assets, equipment allocation, repairs, warranties, and software licences.
- Take regular backups and assist in restoring data when required.
- Follow cybersecurity practices, including antivirus updates, patch management, access control, and data protection.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or vendors.
- Prepare technical reports, service records, network diagrams, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Support IT deployment and maintenance activities at multiple project or client locations.
- Ensure compliance with organisational IT policies and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma, ITI, BCA, B.Sc. IT, B.Tech, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and network cabling.
- Knowledge of CCTV, NVR, DVR, IP cameras, PoE, and surveillance systems will be preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, remote-support tools, antivirus solutions, and backup systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow installation procedures.

Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, networking, CCTV, or field technical services.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.
- Experience in multi-site IT infrastructure, surveillance projects, or field support will be an advantage.
