To provide high-quality primary and emergency medical care to patients, coordinate with diagnostic departments for rapid results, and ensure the smooth clinical functioning of the polyclinic during assigned shifts. Key Responsibilities 1. Clinical Care & Consultation Conduct initial patient screenings, physical examinations, and detailed history-taking. Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses. Provide immediate Emergency & First Aid care (BLS/ACLS) and stabilize patients for transfer if necessary. Perform minor surgical procedures (e.g., suturing, dressing, incision, and drainage). 2. Diagnostic Coordination Order and interpret laboratory tests (biochemistry, hematology) and imaging (X-ray, Ultrasound, ECG). Liaise with Pathologists and Radiologists to ensure fast turnaround times for critical patients. Correlate clinical findings with diagnostic reports to refine treatment plans. 3. Patient Management & Referral Manage the observation ward, monitoring patients under short-term care. Refer patients to specialized consultants within the polyclinic or to higher tertiary centers when required. Provide detailed discharge summaries and patient education regarding medication and follow-up.
Required Qualifications & Skills Education: MBBS degree from a recognized institution with a valid Medical Council registration.(BAMS can also apply for an interview)
Experience: 0–3 years of experience in ER, ICU, or General Practice is preferred. Freshers with strong clinical internship records may be considered.
Certifications: Mandatory BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting ECGs, basic X-rays, and lab reports. Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, ability to remain calm under pressure, and excellent communication skills in local languages and English.
Working Conditions Must be willing to work in a rotational shift system (Morning, Evening, and Night). Availability for "on-call" duties during emergencies or staffing shortages.
