Job Description – Billing Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a Billing Engineer responsible for preparing, checking, and submitting project bills, maintaining billing records, and coordinating with project and client teams to ensure timely certification and payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare RA Bills, client bills, subcontractor bills, and final bills as per project requirements.
- Prepare BOQ, quantity measurements, and quantity reconciliation based on site execution.
- Verify work quantities with site measurements, drawings, BOQ, and work orders.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, clients, and consultants for bill verification and certification.
- Track work progress, billing status, deductions, recoveries, and outstanding payments.
- Prepare measurement sheets, abstracts, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Ensure billing is aligned with contract terms, BOQ, rates, specifications, and approved variations.
- Assist in preparation and submission of variation, extra-item, and deviation claims.
- Maintain proper documentation of bills, measurement records, approvals, and client correspondence.
- Support cost monitoring, reconciliation, and project commercial reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in billing/commercial activities, preferably in Electrical Power / Transmission Line / Substation / Solar / EPC projects.
- Good knowledge of BOQ, measurement, RA Billing, quantity estimation, and contract terms.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; knowledge of billing/ERP software is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively at project sites and meet billing deadlines.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
