Location - Mandya
Key Responsibilities:
- Farmer Acquisition: Scout new agricultural clusters and identify farmers growing relevant Fruits & Vegetables (F&V).
- Digital Onboarding: Educate and enroll farmers onto our digital JBP App to streamline business operations.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct strict on-site quality and freshness checks at the farm before procurement.
- Price Negotiation: Negotiate daily prices based on market benchmarks and execute direct purchases from farmers.
- Relationship Building: Conduct regular field visits to build deep trust with the local farming community and achieve 100% direct-farm sourcing.
- Metrics Management: Track and maintain key supply chain metrics like Farm Sourcing Share, CP Index, and Quality Scores.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage harvest planning and provide seamless shipping details to farmers.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: B.Sc / B.Tech / Diploma in Agriculture or Horticulture.
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in field sourcing, procurement, or agricultural input sales.
- Freshers Welcome: Fresh Agriculture/Horticulture graduates with relevant practical field project or internship experience
- Language & Region: Strong fluency in the local language of the assigned territory is mandatory to build rapport with the farming community.
- Core Skills: Basic knowledge of fresh produce quality and field inspection
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
