Core responsibilities
- Build and enhance the employee facing IT service portal: catalog items, knowledge workflows, portal and Employee Center Pro experience.
- Service Catalog build: catalog items, record producers, variable sets, catalog client scripts, Flow Designer.
- Knowledge Management: knowledge bases, articles, KM workflows, portal search.
- Service Portal / Employee Center development: widgets, pages, theming, topics.
- Virtual Agent topics and conversational automation.
- Defect resolution, code quality, governed and upgrade safe development.
- Partner with the BA and UX designer to turn requirements into solutions.
Required skills
- 3+ years hands-on ServiceNow development (not admin-only).
- Demonstrated build across Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, and Service Portal or Employee Center.
- ServiceNow scripting: client scripts, UI policies and actions, business rules, script includes, GlideRecord, GlideAjax, Flow Designer.
- Configuration vs customization judgment and upgrade safe practices.
- Agile delivery, JIRA, Microsoft 365.
Preferred
- Employee Center Pro experience.
- Hands-on Virtual Agent / conversational automation.
- ServiceNow certs: CSA, CAD, or CIS (ITSM or HRSD).
- Large enterprise or utilities environment.
Pay: ₹450,491.33 - ₹1,718,642.12 per year
