Salesman Job Description Job Title: Salesman Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Salesman to promote and sell our products/services. The ideal candidate will assist customers, achieve sales targets, build strong customer relationships, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers and assist them in selecting products. - Promote and sell products/services to meet sales targets. - Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. - Answer customer inquiries and provide accurate product information. - Process sales transactions and prepare quotations or invoices when required. - Monitor inventory and report stock shortages. - Arrange product displays to maintain an attractive sales area. - Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. - Keep up to date with product knowledge, pricing, and promotions. - Prepare daily sales reports and maintain sales records. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree is an advantage). - Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities. - Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system knowledge. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good organizational and time-management skills.
