Job Title : QA Engineer
Experience : 2 – 4 Years
Role Summary -
The Mid-level QA Engineer will own end-to-end testing for 2Bigha’s web and mobile applications, ensuring stable releases, bug-free core journeys, and high trust in our prop tech platform.
The role is a mix of strong manual testing plus basic automation for regression, along with a basic understanding of Business Analysis (BA) to interpret requirements and validate user flows.
Key Responsibilities -
· Understand product requirements and flows: land search, map view, farm cards, lead forms, onboarding, payments, and dashboards
· Work closely with Product/BA team to analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
· Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases
· Execute functional, UI/UX, regression, smoke, and integration testing
· Test map-based features: marker interactions, boundary polygons, filters, zoom-level performance
· Validate data integrity across frontend, backend, and database
· Log clear, reproducible bugs in Jira and track them to closure
· Build and maintain sanity + regression suites; gradually automate high-value test cases
· Perform API testing (REST & GraphQL) using Postman or similar tools
· Perform basic performance testing using JMeter for critical APIs
· Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and release sign-offs
· Create test data sets and manage test environments
· Continuously improve QA processes and documentation
Must-have Skills & Experience -
· 2–4 years of hands-on QA experience testing web or SaaS applications
· Strong manual testing fundamentals: test design techniques, boundary value analysis, exploratory testing
· Experience writing structured test cases and test plans
· Good understanding of API testing (REST & GraphQL)
· Hands-on experience with Postman or similar tools
· Basic experience with automation tools (Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Appium)
· Familiarity with Jira (or equivalent)
· Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
· Comfort testing responsive UIs across browsers and devices
· Strong attention to detail and communication skills
· Basic understanding of Business Analysis (BA) concepts
Good-to-have / Plus -
· Experience in proptech, mapping/GIS, or location-based products
· Exposure to Google Maps, Mapbox, Leaflet, GeoJSON
· Knowledge of SQL for DB validation
· Experience with JMeter for performance/load testing
· Experience in startup environments
· Prior experience working closely with Business Analysts

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
