Job Description – PYP Assistant Teacher
One World International School (OWIS), Sarjapur
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Homeroom Teacher in planning and delivering engaging PYP learning experiences.
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development in the classroom.
- Prepare teaching aids, learning materials, and maintain an organized learning environment.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and school events.
- Provide individual and small-group support to enhance student learning.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student safety at all times.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student progress.
- Assist with classroom displays, assessments, documentation, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (mandatory); Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Education/NTT is preferred.
- 6 months to 2 years of teaching or classroom assistant experience, preferably in an IB/International School.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with young learners and supporting inquiry-based learning.
Location: One World International School (OWIS), Sarjapur, Bengaluru.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
