Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP BTP Environment and SAP RAP Restful ABAP Programming Model
- Implement RAP behaviour definitions, CDS views, service bindings, service definitions, draft handling, and transactional processing.
- Build end‑to‑end OData V4 services using RAP and integrate with UI frameworks such as Fiori Elements, UI5.
- Develop reusable CDS artifacts, business logic, and extensibility frameworks within the BTP ecosystem.
- Integrate SAP BTP applications with S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, Destination Service, and other BTP services.
- Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with SAP clean‑core and cloud‑ready coding practices.
- Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and DevOps teams to design secure and scalable solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and contribute to architecture discussions.
Strong expertise in
- SAP RAP -managed & unmanaged scenarios
- CDS Views, Annotations, Behaviours, Metadata Extensions
- OData V4 services and Fiori Elements consumption
- Experience integrating BTP applications with S-4HA NA, CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Destination Service, and IAS-IPS.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native principles, multi‑tenant apps, and deployment on SAP BTP.
Experience with Git-enabled Change and Transport System gCTS or ABAP Git.
