Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to promote shipping and logistics services, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have experience in shipping, freight forwarding, NVOCC, or logistics sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business leads and acquire customers for shipping and logistics services.
- Promote ocean freight, NVOCC, freight forwarding, and related logistics solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with exporters, importers, CHA firms, and freight forwarders.
- Prepare and submit freight quotations and service proposals.
- Negotiate rates and service contracts with customers.
- Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and customer inquiries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in shipping line, NVOCC, freight forwarding, or logistics sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Knowledge of shipping documentation and international trade procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Preferred Skills:
- Existing customer network in the shipping and logistics industry.
- Understanding of import/export processes.
- Strong presentation and business development abilities.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
