Design Engineer - Mechanical (SolidWorks)
Key Responsibilities:
Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks
Develop manufacturing-ready designs with proper tolerancing and GD&T applications
Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintain design documentation
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM)
Perform design validation and iterate based on feedback
Maintain version control and design standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Part modeling, Assembly, and Detailed Drawings)
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, casting, welding, etc.)
Experience in 3D modeling projects from concept to production
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) as per ASME Y14.5 or ISO standards
Understanding of material properties and selection
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Knowledge of drafting standards (ISO/ASME)
Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
