Job description:
Responsibilities
- Install and wire outdoor lighting systems (LEDs, spotlights, downlights, landscape lighting)
- Perform electrical work related to turf construction projects
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on-site
- Read and interpret electrical plans, layouts, and specifications
- Ensure all work meets local electrical codes and safety standards
- Test lighting systems for proper operation and efficiency
- Coordinate with project managers and construction crews
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean worksite
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician (outdoor or construction experience preferred)
- Knowledge of low-voltage and standard electrical systems
- Experience with LED and landscape lighting is a strong plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Electrical license or certification (preferred or required, specify)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in turf construction or landscape projects
- Knowledge of timers, transformers, and lighting controls
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
