We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Fitter / Pump Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. on our factory in Kathwada, Ahmedabad Location.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble industrial pumps and mechanical equipment as per engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Install mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, diaphragms, seals, valves, fasteners, and couplings.
- Read and understand assembly drawings, exploded views, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Conduct pump testing, inspection, and basic troubleshooting before dispatch.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair of pumps and mechanical equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and company specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and 5S practices in the work area.
- Report assembly issues and suggest process improvements where applicable.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering departments for smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
- ITI Fitter (Preferred)
- ITI Mechanical / Turner / Machinist (also considered)
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (optional)
