Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Engineer to oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices for luxury high-rise residential projects executed using Mivan Aluminium Formwork Technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety standards, ensuring statutory compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture across the project site.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the project Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management System.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, labour laws, and company HSE policies.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Monitor high-risk activities including work at height, tower crane operations, lifting activities, Mivan shuttering, concrete pouring, scaffolding, excavation, and electrical works.
- Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, mock drills, and regular safety training for workers and staff.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain all statutory safety records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Monitor fire safety systems, emergency response plans, and evacuation procedures.
- Ensure housekeeping standards and site safety signage are maintained throughout the project.
Candidate Profile
- B.Tech in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical preferred).
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, or NEBOSH/IOSH certification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction safety, with experience in luxury high-rise residential projects.
- Hands-on experience in Mivan Aluminium Formwork construction is mandatory.
- Thorough knowledge of construction safety regulations, HSE standards, and emergency response procedures.
- Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
- Ability to conduct safety audits and ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in high-rise Mivan construction technology.
- Knowledge of tower crane safety, suspended platforms, scaffolding systems, and heavy lifting operations.
- Familiarity with safety documentation, statutory inspections, and contractor safety management.
- Proficiency in preparing HSE reports and maintaining compliance records.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
