Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Experience
- Greet, seat, and interact with guests warmly while maintaining premium hospitality standards.
- Ensure every guest receives prompt, courteous, and personalized service.
- Handle special requests, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of food, beverages, ingredients, and allergens.
Operations & Floor Management
- Oversee the smooth functioning of assigned sections during service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, stewarding, and management teams for seamless operations.
- Monitor table turnover, pacing, and service flow to maintain efficiency.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, mise-en-place, and table setup are always up to standard.
Team Supervision
- Lead a team of waiters, runners, and hostesses in the section.
- Conduct briefings before shifts and ensure all staff are informed about specials, promotions, and important service points.
- Train, guide, and support team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Sales & Upselling
- Recommend food and beverage pairings confidently.
- Promote daily specials, signature dishes, and premium offerings.
- Enhance revenue through suggestive selling and strong menu command.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation where required (KOTs, bills, reports).
- Follow grooming standards and ensure the team does the same.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a premium dining restaurant or 5-star hotel.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine and beverages is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high service standards.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and passion for hospitality.
