To deliver high-quality education to students of Classes VIII to XII by creating an engaging, inclusive, and learner-centred classroom environment that promotes academic excellence, character development, and holistic growth. Responsibilities include
- Teach the assigned subject(s) in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare annual, monthly, weekly, and daily lesson plans.
- Deliver engaging, activity-based, and student-centred lessons.
- Complete the prescribed syllabus within the academic calendar.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, digital tools, and teaching aids to enhance learning.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Student Assessment
- Prepare assignments, worksheets, projects, and question papers.
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments.
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessment, and academic progress.
- Identify students requiring academic support and provide remedial instruction where necessary.
Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Foster mutual respect, inclusiveness, and student participation.
- Ensure student safety and adherence to school rules.
- Promote values, ethics, and responsible behaviour.
Student Development
- Mentor students in their academic, emotional, and personal development.
- Encourage participation in sports, cultural programmes, competitions, and co-curricular activities.
- Develop critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills among students.
Parent Engagement
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Communicate student progress, attendance, and behavioural concerns to parents.
- Work collaboratively with parents to support student success.
School Responsibilities
- Participate in assemblies, celebrations, educational visits, and school events.
- Assist with examination duties, admissions, and other academic or administrative responsibilities.
- Serve on school committees as assigned.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Principal.
Documentation & Administration
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance registers, assessment records, and student portfolios.
- Prepare report cards and academic reports within prescribed timelines.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with school policies.
Professional Development
- Attend workshops, seminars, and in-service training programmes.
- Continuously update subject knowledge and teaching practices.
- Implement innovative teaching strategies and educational best practices.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
