Role Overview
SGI School, Kolhapur is inviting applications for a passionate and qualified IBDP ESS (Environmental Systems and Societies) and Biology Facilitator. The candidate will deliver high-quality inquiry-based instruction aligned with International Baccalaureate (IB) standards and mentor students through rigorous coursework and internal assessments.
Key Responsibilities
Teach IBDP Biology (SL/HL) and Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) following the IB curriculum framework.
Guide students through Internal Assessments (IAs), Extended Essays (EEs), and practical lab investigations.
Integrate inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and Theory of Knowledge (TOK) into daily lessons.
Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare candidates for DP external examinations.
Qualifications & Experience
Post-Graduate degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field (B.Ed. preferred).
Proven experience teaching IBDP Biology and/or ESS (Minimum 2–3 years preferred).
Strong familiarity with IB assessment criteria, IA moderation, and curriculum mapping.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and technology-integration skills.
