About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our restaurant team. The cashier will will be responsible for handling all cash and online payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all customer billing at the reception counter
- Process cash and online/digital payments accurately
- Operate and manage billing through Petpooja software
- Maintain daily cash reconciliation and reports
- Prepare basic reports/data using Excel
- Ensure a smooth and professional guest experience at the reception
- Coordinate with restaurant staff and management for billing-related queries
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial transactions
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a cashier (restaurant/hospitality preferred)
- Working knowledge of Petpooja software is required
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Trustworthy, honest, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work in break shifts
