We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing high-quality video content for digital platforms, ensuring engaging storytelling, professional visual appeal, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished and engaging content.
- Create videos for social media platforms, YouTube, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Add transitions, effects, motion graphics, subtitles, and background music as required.
- Ensure videos meet quality standards and project objectives.
- Collaborate with the content, marketing, and creative teams to understand project requirements.
- Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.
- Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and video optimization.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and social media content requirements.
- Experience with motion graphics and basic animation is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience editing content for social media, advertisements, podcasts, webinars, or educational videos.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Familiarity with current video trends and audience engagement strategies.
