Role Overview
The Counsellor will be responsible for engaging with prospective students and parents through both in-person interactions and tele-counselling. The role focuses on student guidance, admissions support, and relationship management to enhance enrolment outcomes and institutional outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Student & Parent Counselling
- Provide accurate and persuasive counselling to visiting students and parents regarding academic programs, facilities, and career prospects.
- Address queries, concerns, and objections professionally to support admission decisions.
2. Tele-counselling (Inbound & Outbound)
- Handle incoming admission-related queries through phone calls and other communication channels.
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective students generated through various campaigns and databases.
- Maintain structured follow-up to convert leads into admissions.
3. Lead Conversion & Admission Support
- Guide prospective candidates through the admission process.
- Ensure effective conversion of leads into confirmed admissions.
- Maintain proper records of interactions and conversions.
4. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain daily reports on calls, visits, conversions, and pipeline status.
- Update CRM or admission tracking systems regularly.
5. Multitasking & Institutional Support
- Assist in outreach activities, admission drives, and promotional events.
- Support administrative or coordination tasks as assigned.
6. Customer Experience
· Ensure a positive and professional interaction with all stakeholders.
· Address queries, concerns, and complaints effectively.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline (Preference for candidates with experience in counselling, marketing, or admissions).
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, Odia (preferred).
Good communication in Bengali will be an added advantage
Basic proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, email handling & data handling.
Prior experience in tele-calling, counselling, or sales-oriented roles will be an advantage.
Compensation Structure
- Salary: ₹15000 - ₹20,000 per month
- Incentive: ₹500 per candidate successfully sourced/admitted
- Minimum Assured Incentive: ₹5,000 per month (subject to performance benchmarks)
Tenure & Growth Opportunity
- Initial appointment will be for 6 months (contractual basis).
- High-performing candidates with multitasking ability and institutional alignment may be considered for regular employment after the contract period.
