**Senior Multi-Brand Passenger Car Technician**
## The Role
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Technician to lead diagnosis, repair, and quality control across a wide range of passenger car brands. You will handle complex mechanical and electrical faults, mentor junior technicians, and ensure every vehicle leaves our workshop to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with modern diagnostics, and taking ownership of difficult jobs.
## Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults on multi-brand passenger cars (e.g., European, Japanese, Korean, and domestic makes).
- Carry out advanced diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket scan tools, wiring diagrams, and technical bulletins.
- Perform complex repairs including engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering, braking, HVAC, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) where applicable.
- Conduct scheduled servicing, inspections, and pre-delivery checks in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Lead root-cause analysis on recurring or challenging faults and document findings for the team.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level technicians; provide on-the-job training and quality checks on their work.
- Liaise with service advisors and parts team to manage workflow, estimate times, and ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Explain technical issues and repair recommendations clearly to non-technical staff and customers when required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant workshop environment; follow all health & safety and environmental procedures.
- Keep up to date with new vehicle technologies, software updates, and manufacturer service information.
## Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, with at least 5+ years working on multi-brand passenger cars.
- Strong diagnostic skills with confidence in electrical/electronic systems and modern vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, etc.).
- Experience with OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools (e.g., Bosch, Autel, Snap-on, brand-specific tools).
- Solid understanding of engine management, emissions systems, ABS/ESP, airbags, infotainment, and ADAS-related systems.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical bulletins.
- Relevant formal qualification in automotive technology (e.g., NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or equivalent).
- Additional certifications in diagnostics, electrical systems, or specific brands are highly desirable.
- Valid driving license and clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
## Nice to Have
- Experience in a multi-brand independent garage or fast-fit chain.
- Familiarity with hybrid and/or electric vehicle systems.
- Prior experience mentoring or leading a small team of technicians.
- Training in ADAS calibration or high-voltage system

Pay: ₹22,700.00 - ₹32,500.00 per month
