Position Overview -
- Vishram International Services (VIS) is seeking a highly experienced International Education Manager with extensive expertise in overseas education consulting, international student recruitment, university admissions, and student visa operations. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial leader who is willing to build and scale a new branch from scratch. The successful candidate will take ownership of branch development, team building, operational setup, student recruitment strategies, institutional partnerships, and revenue growth. Candidates must possess strong industry knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving student enrollments and business growth within the overseas education sector.
Key Responsibilities
Branch Setup & Leadership
- Establish and manage the Ahmedabad branch operations from inception.
- Develop operational workflows, reporting structures, counseling processes, and CRM management systems.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of overseas education counselors and support staff.
- Create a performance-driven culture focused on student success and business growth.
- Monitor branch performance and implement strategies to achieve enrollment and revenue targets.
Overseas Education Counseling
- Conduct advanced counseling sessions for students and parents regarding international education opportunities.
- Guide students for undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, pathway, and high-school study abroad programs.
- Advise students on suitable universities, admission requirements, career pathways, scholarships, and education financing options.
- Support applications for major destinations including:
- USA
- Canada
- United Kingdom
- Other European destinations and other destinations .
Student Visa & Admissions Management
- Supervise end-to-end admission and visa processes.
- Ensure high-quality review of:
- Statements of Purpose (SOPs)
- Letters of Recommendation (LORs)
- Financial documentation
- Visa applications
- Maintain compliance with changing immigration and visa regulations.
Business Development & Student Recruitment
- Drive student recruitment through seminars, educational events, school visits, university fairs, and digital campaigns.
- Develop relationships with schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and referral partners throughout Gujarat.
- Build and manage a network of recruitment partners and sub-agents.
- Identify new market opportunities and expansion channels.
- Represent VIS at educational events and networking opportunities.
- Operational & Revenue Management
- Take ownership of branch revenue, student enrollment, and conversion targets.
- Analyze business performance and implement corrective actions when required.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Ensure excellent student experience and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Education, International Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Overseas Education Consulting.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a Team Lead, Senior Counselor, Branch Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven experience handling admissions and visa applications for major study destinations.
- Strong understanding of international university admissions processes.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Professional fluency in Hindi and Gujarati is preferred .

Relocation Requirement
- Important: Candidates applying from outside Ahmedabad must be willing to relocate prior to joining. Immediate availability or confirmed relocation plans will be highly preferred.
