About the Role
Ratio Learning is looking for a knowledgeable and engaging GK Faculty to conduct online live classes for students preparing for SSC, RRB and Banking examinations.
The faculty will primarily be responsible for conducting focused live sessions that help students revise important concepts, clarify doubts, discuss exam-relevant topics, and improve their overall General Awareness preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 1-hour online live GK sessions during evening hours after 6:00 PM.
- Conduct approximately 5 hours of live classes per month.
- Cover and explain important General Awareness/GK topics relevant to SSC, RRB and Banking examinations.
- Provide concise explanations and exam-oriented insights.
- Conduct revision and doubt-clearing sessions based on students' requirements.
- Discuss important PYQs and expected exam-oriented questions wherever required.
- Keep students engaged through interactive teaching and questioning.
- Stay updated with important current affairs and recent developments relevant to competitive examinations.
- Coordinate with the academic/content team regarding topics and session requirements.
- Ensure classes are conducted on time with good audio/video and professional presentation.
Subjects / Areas
The faculty may be required to handle topics such as:
- History
- Geography
- Indian Polity
- Indian Economy
- General Science
- Static GK
- Important National & International Events
- Awards, Sports, Books & Authors, Important Days, etc.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of General Knowledge and General Awareness.
- Good understanding of the SSC, RRB and Banking exam pattern and syllabus.
- Previous teaching/coaching experience is preferred.
- Ability to explain concepts in a simple, clear and exam-oriented manner.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct engaging online classes.
- Malayalam and English communication skills will be an advantage.
- Candidates who have experience in competitive-exam coaching are preferred.
Work Details
Position: Part-Time GK Faculty
Mode: Online
Working Hours: Approximately 5 hours/month
Class Duration: 1 hour per session
Timing: After 6:00 PM
Frequency: Flexible, based on the monthly schedule
Target Exams: SSC, RRB & Banking
