Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Auditor to join a CA Firm. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Internal Audit, Statutory Audit and P-Tax (Professional Tax). The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling audit assignments, preparing working papers, identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Internal Audits for clients.
- Handle Statutory Audit assignments and audit documentation.
- Review books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers and financial records.
- Identify accounting discrepancies, errors and control weaknesses.
- Prepare audit working papers, reports and supporting documentation.
- Handle P-Tax compliance, calculations, returns and related documentation.
- Coordinate with clients for audit-related information and queries.
- Verify compliance with applicable accounting and statutory requirements.
- Assist in finalization of accounts and audit-related reporting.
- Follow up on audit observations and corrective actions.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in a CA Firm is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience in Internal Audit and Statutory Audit.
- Practical knowledge of P-Tax (Professional Tax).
- Good knowledge of accounting and audit procedures.
- Experience in handling client audits independently.
- Good analytical and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Candidates must be comfortable working in Dalhousie, Kolkata.
- Must be comfortable with 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM working hours
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
