Job Description: Senior Project Manager – Data Center Infrastructure
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead
the implementation of large-scale Private and Hybrid/Public Cloud Data Center
infrastructures. In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating complex, high-
impact deployments utilizing hyperscaler frameworks (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
alongside robust private enterprise infrastructure.
The ideal candidate brings 4 to 10 years of dedicated experience in data center
implementation, possesses a valid PMI certification (PMP/CAPM), and exhibits
exceptional English communication skills to seamlessly bridge the gap between
technical engineering teams and C-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
· End-to-End Delivery: Own the lifecycle of large-scale private data center
builds and public cloud infrastructure integrations from initial charter to final
handover.
· Hyperscaler Integration: Oversee the migration, hybrid connectivity, and
deployment strategies involving AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
(GCP).
· Scope & Schedule Management: Develop comprehensive project plans,
defining milestones, critical paths, and resource allocation using industry-
standard PM tools.
· Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify, assess, and manage technical and
operational risks to prevent project slippage or budget overruns.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
· Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between network
engineers, facilities teams, security compliance officers, and external vendors.
· Executive Reporting: Deliver crystal-clear, concise project status reports,
presentations, and dashboards to senior leadership and clients in flawless
English.
· Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships, SLAs, and
deliverables with hardware vendors, cloud service providers, and third-party
contractors.
Financial & Quality Control
· Budgeting: Track project expenses, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and
operational expenditures (OPEX) to ensure projects deliver within financial
constraints.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure all data center deployments adhere to global
industry standards, security compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2), and
enterprise architecture blueprints.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience
· 4 to 10 years of proven project management experience specifically focused
on IT infrastructure, with a heavy emphasis on large-scale private data
centers and public cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
· Demonstrated experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and complex,
multi-site infrastructure projects.
Certifications
· Active Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is mandatory
(PMP preferred; CAPM acceptable depending on depth of practical
experience).
· Preferred but not required: Professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS
Certified Cloud Practitioner/Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure
Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader).
Technical Acumen
· Familiarity with cloud architecture, HPC, virtualization, hybrid cloud
connectivity and migration methodologies.
Communication & Soft Skills
· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are non-
negotiable. You must be comfortable leading global calls and drafting high-
quality documentation.
· Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship-building capabilities.
Pay: ₹551,357.13 - ₹2,900,000.17 per year
