About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and eager Junior Web Developer Intern to join our team in Salem. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in real-world web development projects. You will work closely with our senior developers to design, build, and maintain high-quality web applications.
This is a hybrid role, offering a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing you to grow your technical skills in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Web Development: Assist in developing and maintaining front-end and back-end components of websites and web applications.
- Coding & Debugging: Write clean, efficient, and testable code while identifying and resolving bugs.
- Collaboration: Work alongside senior developers, designers, and project managers to implement new features and functionality.
- Testing: Participate in testing web pages across different browsers and devices to ensure optimal performance and responsiveness.
- Learning & Growth: Stay updated with the latest web development trends, frameworks, and best practices.
- Documentation: Assist in documenting code and project-related tasks to ensure project clarity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent bootcamp certification).
- Technical Foundation: Strong understanding of React or Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, Typescript (opt).
- Familiarity: Basic knowledge of modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and backend tools (e.g., Node.js, PHP, or Python) is a plus.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like Git/GitHub.
