- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layout drawings
- Mount electrical components (PLC, relays, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, contactors, power supplies, etc.)
- Perform point-to-point wiring of control panels
- Label wires and components according to drawings and standards
- Route and secure wiring neatly using wire ducts, cable ties, and ferrules
- Perform continuity testing and basic electrical testing
- Troubleshoot wiring errors and component issues
- Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, CSA, or other applicable standards
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Assist in panel installation and field wiring when required
