Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Promote accounting outsourcing services, including bookkeeping, payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, tax preparation support, financial reporting, and virtual CFO services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with SMEs, startups, CPA firms, accounting firms, and corporate clients.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Understand client requirements and propose customized outsourcing solutions.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and CRM records.
- Collaborate with the operations and finance teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and business forums.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing or Sales is preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in business development, preferably in accounting outsourcing, BPO, KPO, financial services, or professional services.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance outsourcing services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with lead generation, client acquisition, and account management.
- Knowledge of CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, etc.).
- Ability to prepare proposals and conduct sales presentations.
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Preferred Skills
- Experience selling services to international clients (US, UK, Canada, Australia).
- Understanding of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, NetSuite, or Zoho Books.
- Familiarity with outsourcing business models and remote service delivery.
