GYROHR is hiring a Master Trainer cum Centre Manager on behalf of one of our clients in the Skill Development / Automotive Training sector.
We are looking for an experienced automotive professional who can independently manage a skill development centre while also delivering high-quality technical training to students.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on automotive service experience along with prior exposure to training, batch management, centre operations and MIS/reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Student Development
- Conduct classroom and practical training in automotive servicing, repair, diagnostics and maintenance.
- Deliver training as per prescribed curriculum and industry standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, training material and assessment tools.
- Assess trainee performance and provide regular feedback.
- Support students with soft skills and workplace readiness wherever required.
Centre Management
- Manage day-to-day operations of the training centre.
- Coordinate trainers, staff, students, infrastructure and equipment.
- Manage batch schedules, attendance, assessments and training calendars.
- Maintain student records, attendance, asset registers and MIS reports.
- Ensure adherence to training, safety and certification guidelines.
- Manage student discipline and ensure smooth functioning of the centre.
Industry & Placement Coordination
- Coordinate with automotive workshops, service centres and OEMs.
- Support industry visits, guest lectures and placement-related activities.
- Build relationships with industry partners for student exposure and employment opportunities.
- Stay updated with new automotive technologies, tools and service practices.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering preferred.
- Candidates with relevant ITI certification may also be considered.
- Minimum 6 years of overall experience, preferably including:
- Around 4 years of hands-on Automotive Service / Maintenance experience
- 1–2 years of Training and/or Centre Management experience
- Strong understanding of automotive systems including engines, transmission, brakes, electrical systems and diagnostics.
- Experience in managing students, trainers, batch schedules and reporting.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and MIS reporting.
- Fluency in Hindi and/or English; knowledge of Marathi will be an advantage.
- Candidates having exposure to NSDC, Sector Skill Councils, PMKVY or other Skill Development programs will be preferred.
