Varun Beverages Ltd. seeks an Executive - Quality to lead and manage quality control processes, ensuring product excellence and consumer satisfaction.
The Executive - Quality will play a pivotal role in our Quality Control department, overseeing and implementing rigorous quality standards. This position involves close collaboration with various teams to maintain the highest product quality, safety, and consumer trust. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of quality control processes, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and manage the Quality Control team, ensuring effective coordination and execution of quality standards.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols, in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address quality issues, ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Monitor and analyze quality data, identifying trends and implementing process improvements to enhance product quality.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a safe and hygienic production environment.
- Conduct training sessions for quality control personnel, promoting a culture of quality awareness and continuous learning.
- Manage and maintain accurate quality records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to provide quality-related insights and support for product launches and promotions.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field, with a specialization in Quality Control or Assurance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably in the beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and data analysis tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality control.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak production periods.
