Role : - UG NX - Sheet Metal Design Engineer
Exp: 5+Years
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop sheet metal enclosures for semiconductor power boxes
- Ensure IP rating compliance, structural strength, and manufacturability
- Design copper/aluminum bus bars for efficient power distribution
- Consider current density, creepage, clearance, and thermal expansion in designs
- Integrate power modules, capacitors, magnetics, and cooling systems
- Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs using Siemens NX (Unigraphics)
- Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles
- Collaborate on thermal management solutions for safe operating temperatures
- Ensure EMI/EMC shielding, vibration resistance, and reliability
- Work with cross-functional teams for design validation and optimization
