# Junior Interior Designer **Company:** RV Creations **Experience:** 2+ Years **Job Type:** Full-time **Location:** [Add Location] ### About the Role RV Creations is looking for a creative and detail-oriented **Junior Interior Designer with 2+ years of professional experience** to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of residential/commercial interior design, strong drawing and presentation skills, and the ability to work closely with senior designers throughout the project lifecycle. This role will involve working from **initial design concepts through drawings, 3D visualization, material selection and site execution**, while coordinating with the senior design team and other project stakeholders. ### Key Responsibilities * Prepare accurate **2D working drawings, furniture layouts, elevations, sections and detailed drawings** under the guidance of senior designers. * Develop **3D views/renders and design presentations** to communicate design concepts effectively. * Assist in creating **design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, colour schemes and furniture selections**. * Work on interior layouts while maintaining proper functionality, aesthetics and design intent. * Visit project sites to **take measurements, understand existing conditions and monitor project progress**. * Assist senior designers in translating design concepts into practical execution drawings. * Coordinate with **vendors, contractors, carpenters and other site teams** whenever required. * Prepare and organize drawings, material specifications and project-related documentation. * Make revisions to drawings and designs based on feedback from senior designers and clients. * Maintain proper coordination between **design drawings and actual site execution**. * Participate in design discussions and contribute creative ideas to ongoing projects. * Ensure drawings and presentations are completed accurately and within project timelines. ### Required Skills * **AutoCAD** – Strong working knowledge of 2D drawings and detailing. * **Photoshop** – Ability to prepare and enhance presentations and design visuals. * **MS Office** – Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Good understanding of **interior design principles, materials, furniture, lighting and spatial planning**. * Ability to understand **architectural/interior drawings and measurements**. * Good visualization and presentation skills. * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. * Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and handle multiple project requirements. ### Additional Skill Knowledge of **SketchUp or V-Ray** will be an added advantage. ### What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is **creative, responsible, organized and eager to grow as an interior designer**.
