- Prepare and cook food items as per the daily menu and instructions from the Cafeteria In-charge/Executive Chef.
- Ensure proper hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices in the kitchen area.
- Maintain quality, taste, and presentation of food served.
- Support timely preparation and serving of meals, snacks, and beverages.
- Handle kitchen equipment and utensils safely and responsibly.
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and monitor freshness of ingredients.
- Coordinate with the cafeteria team for smooth kitchen operations.
- Avoid food wastage and ensure efficient utilization of materials.
- Follow hospital policies related to hygiene, safety, discipline, and patient service standards.
- Report any shortages, maintenance issues, or operational concerns to the reporting manager immediately.
