We are seeking an experienced Circular Knitting Unit Manager to lead and oversee operations at our advanced knitting unit in New Tiruppur. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing knitting production, team leadership, and ensuring quality standards while meeting production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the circular knitting unit, including machine efficiency and maintenance.
- Plan and execute production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Monitor and ensure fabric quality aligns with customer requirements.
- Manage and lead a team of operators and technicians to optimize performance.
- Coordinate with other departments for raw material availability and order planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Textile Technology or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing circular knitting operations.
- Strong knowledge of knitting machine types, settings, and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Familiarity with fabric quality standards and defect analysis.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
