Job Summary
The Civil Supervisor is responsible for supervising and managing day-to-day construction activities at the project site. The role involves ensuring that all civil works are executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines while maintaining safety and proper coordination with workers, contractors, and engineers.
Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision
- Supervise daily construction activities including excavation, foundation work, RCC work, brickwork, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing work.
- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Monitor progress of ongoing work and maintain construction schedules.
2. Workforce Management
- Manage and supervise masons, helpers, carpenters, bar benders, electricians, plumbers, and other labor at site.
- Allocate daily work assignments to labor teams and subcontractors.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower and equipment.
3. Quality Control
- Check quality of materials received at site such as cement, sand, aggregate, steel, bricks, tiles, etc.
- Ensure construction quality as per engineering standards and client requirements.
- Inspect shuttering, reinforcement, concrete pouring, curing, and finishing work.
4. Material Management
- Monitor material consumption and avoid wastage at site.
- Maintain records of incoming and used construction materials.
- Coordinate with procurement team for timely material availability.
5. Measurement & Documentation
- Maintain daily work progress reports.
- Record measurements of completed work for billing and contractor payments.
- Maintain site registers for labor attendance, material stock, and work completion status.
6. Safety Compliance
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures and use proper PPE (helmet, safety shoes, gloves, harness, etc.).
- Maintain safe working conditions at site.
- Report accidents, unsafe conditions, or safety violations immediately.
7. Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients when required.
- Resolve site-level execution problems and report technical issues to management.
- Assist project engineers during inspections and quality checks.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil Engineering (Preferred).
- Minimum 1–3 years experience in building construction projects.
- Experience in residential, commercial, institutional, or government building projects preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of RCC, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishing works.
- Ability to read construction drawings and BOQ.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation and site measurements.
- Understanding of construction materials and quality standards.
- Good leadership and labor management skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reporting, documentation preferred).
Working Conditions
- Full-time site-based job.
- Must be available for field work and supervision during project working hours.
- May require travel or relocation depending on project location.

Pay: ₹8,924.44 - ₹15,000.00 per month
