ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF INTERIOR FACULTY
Interior design faculty bridge the gap between creative artistry and technical construction. Their primary role is to develop curriculum, teach core design principles, mentor students on professional portfolios, and train them in industry-standard software like AutoCAD and SketchUp. The roles and responsibilities of interior design faculty can be categorized into three key areas
1. Instruction & Curriculum Development
- Deliver Lectures: Teach comprehensive courses on space planning, color theory, lighting design, and material specifications.
- Software Training: Provide hands-on training for design and rendering software, including AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Curriculum Design: Create and continuously update course content, practical exercises, and project briefs to align with current industry standards.
- Assessments: Grade student assignments, evaluate performance, and provide constructive feedback on design solutions.
2. Mentorship & Professional Development
- Portfolio Guidance: Help students curate their academic work into professional portfolios for internships and job placements.
- Career Counseling: Advise students on career paths and industry requirements.
- Industry Readiness: Prepare students for real-world scenarios by discussing building codes, ergonomics, and safety standards.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
