We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join our Plant team. The candidate will be responsible for fabrication, repair, and maintenance welding work on plant machinery, pipelines, containers, structural components, and waste handling equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ARC, MIG, TIG, and gas welding as required for plant maintenance and fabrication work.
- Repair and maintain biomedical waste processing equipment, incinerators, autoclaves, shredders, trolleys, bins, and pipelines.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
- Conduct cutting, grinding, fitting, and fabrication activities.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure quality standards.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of welding tools and equipment.
- Follow all plant safety procedures, PPE requirements, and biomedical waste handling protocols.
- Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams for breakdown repairs and shutdown activities.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the work area.
- Report equipment faults, safety hazards, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI Welder / Fabricator certification or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2–5 years of welding experience in industrial plants, manufacturing units, or waste management facilities.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, metal fabrication, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Ability to work in hazardous and high-temperature environments safely.
- Familiarity with safety standards and PPE usage.
- Basic understanding of mechanical maintenance is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in biomedical waste plants, incineration plants, recycling plants, or heavy industrial maintenance.
- Knowledge of stainless steel welding and pipeline fabrication.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
