Job Title: Gold & Silver Appraiser – (Freshers Welcome)
Job Summary: We are looking for a trustworthy, observant, and customer-focused Gold & Silver Appraiser to join our team. In this role, you will primarily operate from our office, handling jewelry verification, customer interactions, and negotiation. You will also go into the field as needed to provide doorstep appraisal services or execute takeover services from banks, NBFCs, and local financial institutions.
Our company prides itself on clean, ethical business with NO sales targets. Your core responsibility is to ensure accurate metal testing, proper document verification, and excellent customer satisfaction.
No prior appraisal experience is required—complete practical training will be provided by the company. Freshers with good communication skills, high integrity, and a professional attitude are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Jewel Appraisal & Purity Testing: Accurately evaluate gold and silver purity using standard testing methods (acid testing, touchstone check, net weight calculations, carat evaluation).
- Detection of Spurious Metals: Identify fake, alloyed, plated, or tungsten-filled items to prevent fraudulent transactions.
- Customer & Document Verification: Cross-verify customer identities, original purchase invoices, loan receipts, and KYC credentials against physical records.
- Flexible Work Model (Office + Field): Serve in-branch customers as the primary daily role, and step out into the field whenever a doorstep service or bank/NBFC takeover request arises.
- Negotiation & Customer Satisfaction: Interact professionally with clients, offer fair valuations, and handle negotiations skillfully to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Clean & Ethical Operations: Adhere strictly to transparent, target-free, and honest business practices.
Key Qualifications & Eligibility
- Education: High school diploma, diploma, or degree in any stream.
- Experience: Freshers welcome! Complete hands-on training on gold/silver appraisal, fraud detection, and customer handling will be provided.
- Key Skills: Good negotiation skills, effective communication, polite demeanor, and basic document/KYC checking ability.
- Integrity & Vigilance: High sense of responsibility, security awareness, and trustworthiness while handling high-value assets.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel locally for doorstep appraisals and financial institution takeovers as required.
