We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Structural Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in structural analysis, RCC and steel structure design, engineering calculations, site coordination, and technical documentation. This is primarily an office-based design role with occasional site visits and client meetings.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding project requirements, conducting site assessments, performing structural calculations, preparing engineering designs, reviewing drawings, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring that all designs comply with applicable engineering standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for RCC, steel, and other structural systems.
- Prepare detailed structural calculations, design reports, and engineering documentation.
- Develop, review, and approve structural drawings, construction drawings, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Visit project sites to collect measurements, inspect existing structures, and understand project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project objectives, technical requirements, and design expectations.
- Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and project teams.
- Work closely with AutoCAD Designers and Civil Engineers to develop accurate engineering drawings.
- Review and verify dimensions, layouts, structural details, and design modifications.
- Prepare BOQs, material quantity calculations, and technical specifications.
- Estimate structural material requirements including concrete, reinforcement steel, structural steel, fasteners, and other construction materials.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Standards (IS Codes), safety regulations, and engineering best practices.
- Resolve technical issues arising during design and execution stages.
- Review shop drawings and provide technical guidance to site teams.
- Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, design revisions, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement and execution teams regarding engineering requirements.
- Maintain proper project records, calculations, drawings, and engineering documents.
- Support project execution by providing timely engineering solutions.
- Travel to project locations whenever required for site inspections, surveys, client meetings, and technical coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering.
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering and design.
Pay: ₹20,042.82 - ₹60,434.54 per month
