Job Summary
Morning Star Matriculation School is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to inspire students and develop their understanding of computer science concepts, programming, and digital literacy. The ideal candidate should be committed to creating an engaging learning environment and helping students build practical technology skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science to students as per the school curriculum.
- Plan and deliver interactive and engaging classroom sessions.
- Introduce students to programming concepts, computer applications, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct practical lab sessions and guide students in hands-on activities.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.
- Integrate technology into teaching to enhance the learning experience.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and academic activities.
- Maintain accurate academic records and support students in achieving learning outcomes.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. is preferred (as per school requirements).
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and programming concepts.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, C, or C++ is an advantage.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and educational technology tools.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Experience
- 1–5 years of teaching experience in a school is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent academic credentials and teaching aptitude are encouraged to apply.
