Role Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Technical Consultant – Data Services to support our growing Data & Analytics practice. This is a customer-facing role focused on Presales, Data Solution Consulting, Data expertise, Account Growth, and Technical Advisory.
The ideal candidate will work closely with Sales, Delivery, and Customer Success teams to understand client business challenges, design scalable data solutions, conduct technical discussions, support proposals, and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling Data Services within existing customer accounts.
This role requires an excellent blend of technical expertise, business consulting, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Presales & Solution Consulting
- Lead discovery workshops and technical discussions with customers.
- Gather and analyze business requirements.
- Design scalable data architecture and solution approaches.
- Prepare solution documents, effort estimations, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOW).
- Participate in RFP/RFI responses and technical presentations.
- Conduct product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and solution walkthroughs.
- Work closely with Sales teams throughout the sales lifecycle.
SQL & Data Consulting
- Provide deep technical consulting around SQL Server, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, and modern data platforms.
- Analyze existing database environments and recommend modernization strategies.
- Design Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT pipelines, and reporting solutions.
- Guide customers on data modeling, performance tuning, governance, and best practices.
- Recommend optimal reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI and Tableau.
Customer Success & Account Growth
- Build trusted relationships with existing customers.
- Regularly engage with client stakeholders to understand evolving business needs.
- Identify opportunities for:
- Cross-selling additional Data Services
- Upselling existing engagements
- Modernization initiatives
- Cloud migration
- Managed Services
- AI & Analytics opportunities
- Collaborate with Account Managers to grow strategic customer accounts.
- Present technology roadmaps and digital transformation recommendations.
Technical Leadership
- Act as a trusted technical advisor during customer engagements.
- Review solution designs and provide architectural guidance.
- Mentor delivery teams on technical best practices.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with customer goals and industry standards.
- Support project transition from Presales to Delivery.
Sales Enablement
- Create reusable solution accelerators and proposal templates.
- Develop case studies, capability presentations, and technical collateral.
- Support marketing initiatives such as webinars, blogs, and technical sessions.
- Enable sales teams with technical knowledge and competitive positioning.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Microsoft Azure certifications are preferred.
- Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Snowflake, or Databricks certifications are an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- 8–14 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Analytics Consulting.
- Experience in IT Services or Consulting organizations.
- Proven experience supporting Presales and Solution Architecture.
- Experience working with US-based customers.
- Strong understanding of modern Data Platform and Cloud Analytics solutions.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,500,000.00 per year
