About SimForge
SimForge is building the data infrastructure for Physical AI. We create photorealistic digital twins, HD semantic maps, and cloud-native simulation infrastructure that enable autonomous vehicles, robotics, and smart city AI systems to train, test, and validate safely at scale.
Headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Luxembourg and Goa, SimForge is led by autonomous vehicle industry veterans from Amazon, Cruise, Uber, and Mapbox.
We are looking for a strong product-minded fullstack engineer to make these workflows powerful, usable, and AI-native.
What you’ll own
You will build the product surface area for SimCloud and SimScene: scenario authoring, map and scene exploration, job submission, simulation result inspection, dataset generation, and AI-assisted workflows.
This is not a generic dashboard role. You will be building interfaces where users can inspect complex 3D/geospatial assets, author simulation scenarios, trigger cloud workloads, review outputs, and use agents to accelerate tasks that would otherwise require deep simulation or geospatial expertise.
Responsibilities
- Build fullstack product features across SimCloud and SimScene.
- Create user workflows for scene search, map inspection, metadata browsing, scenario
- placement, job submission, simulation monitoring, result review, and dataset packaging.
- Design and implement AI-assisted product experiences: scenario generation, prompt-to-scene workflows, simulation debugging assistants, dataset curation agents, and guided editing loops.
- Build frontend experiences that make complex simulation and geospatial data understandable and actionable.
- Develop backend APIs and services to support product workflows, permissions, job state, metadata queries, artifacts, and user collaboration.
- Partner with design, simulation, infrastructure, and ML engineers to turn rough technical capabilities into usable product features.
- Use agentic engineering workflows to accelerate development, including coding agents, UI iteration loops, eval harnesses, automated tests, and product prototyping.
- Create internal tools that help the team move faster: admin consoles, debug tools, workflow inspectors, scenario validators, and simulation artifact viewers.
- Help shape the UX patterns for AI-native simulation products.
What we’re looking for
- Btech from Tier 1 Engineering colleges with Strong fullstack engineering experience, ideally with modern TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, or similar stacks.
- Strong product sense and ability to turn ambiguous workflows into simple user experiences.
- Experience building complex web applications involving data visualization, workflow tools, developer tools, cloud products, geospatial products, ML products, or creative tools.
- Ability to work across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, auth, storage, and product architecture.
- Comfort with technical product domains where users need to inspect, debug, configure, and iterate.
- High agency and strong taste for developer velocity.
- Hands-on fluency with AI tooling: Cursor, Claude Code, Codex-style agents, eval loops, prompt-driven prototyping, automated UI tests, and agent-assisted refactoring.
- Ability to build quickly without creating product or architectural debt.
Nice to have
- Experience with 3D, maps, geospatial data, simulation, robotics, game engines, synthetic data, or ML tooling.
- Experience with Mapbox, deck.gl, Cesium, Three.js, WebGL, Unreal/Unity-adjacent workflows, or 3D asset inspection.
- Experience building AI-first product features, copilots, agents, structured generation workflows, or human-in-the-loop review systems.
- Experience with job dashboards, workflow systems, data labeling tools, dataset management tools, or ML experiment platforms. Experience with design systems and high-quality frontend craft.
Benefits:
- Paid sick time
- Provident Fund
